Something went wrong while installing Office 2013 or Office 365. This problem usually occurs if a second installation of Office was started before the first installation was finished or if you restarted your computer before the current Office installation was finished
When you try to install Microsoft Office Home and Student 2013, Microsoft Office Home and Business 2013, Microsoft Office Professional 2013, or Microsoft Office 365 Home Premium

Something went wrong. We ran into a problem, please try installing Office again or something went wrong. Office can’t do that right now because your product is busy with another task. Please wait for this task to complete and try again
- Click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Programs and Features.
- Click your Microsoft Office program, and then click Change.
- Select Online Repair, and then click Repair.
After the Online Repair process is complete, you should be able to use your Office 2013 applications. If not continue with step 2.
If Online Repair does not resolve this issue, or if you do not see Office 365 or Office 2013 in Programs and Features, follow these steps:
- Remove Office 2013 or Office 365 by using the following Fix it tool:
Important: The File Download dialog box appears at the bottom of the Internet Explorer windows. When you download the Fix it, you should click Save in the File Download dialog box. When the download is complete, click Open folder, find the file (its name should start with “O15CTRRemove”), and then double-click the file to run the Fix it. If you click Open, you may have problems in running the Fix it.
2. Restart the computer.
3. Reinstall Office 2013 or Office 365. To reinstall Office 365, follow these steps:
a. Go to, http://www.office.com/myaccount, and then log on to your account that has Office 365 subscription.
b. Click Install to install Office 365. Reinstalling Office 365 on the same computer will not decrease your number of available installs.
